Today, our Blog was born. You have to start somewhere. We're still at home in Victoria BC Canada. Our catamaran hasn't even been built yet, but research has been going on for months already: which watermaker?, air conditioning yes or no?, what kind of sails?, how will we get our pets to Europe? And so on and so forth. Four and a half months before we are leaving our home for a year, picking up our Lagoon 450 in France, sail the Meds, cross the Atlantic, and enjoy the winter of 2012 in the Carribean. At least, that's the plan. 'Us', that's Rolf, my husband, Chester, our five year old Golden Retriever, Sparkles, our nine year old cat, and myself.
